Opening: Design Engineer
Job Description:
- Design and model new products using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software
Responsibilities:
- Designing and modeling new products in SOLIDWORKS
- Create drawings for all components, assemblies
- Prepare CAD models for in-house fabrication
- Maintain history of product designs and prepare appropriate documentation for D.O.T. certification
- Communicate with buyers to meet specific project needs
Requirements:
- Proficient with SOLIDWORKS
- Proficient with MS Office Software
- Able to work independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in sheet metal is preferred
- Experience with PDM Works is a plus
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a plus
