MSDF specializes in high-quality MIG, TIG, and Robotic welding applications.
Our team of highly skilled welders are capable completing welding tasks, from simple weldments to very large structural fabrications.
Qualified on materials from light sheet metal through heavy plate, our welders are AWS certified and are overseen by several AWS Certified Welding Inspectors'(CWI). Fabrications of Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel and Aluminum are routinely designed and processed through the shop.
Our welders and welding processes are certified and in full compliance.
Compliance
Our welders and welding processes comply with the requirements of AWS D1.1, AWS D1.3, AWS D1.6 and ASME Section IX. Our in-house Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) are able to assist in special weld processes and inspections.
Our welding inspectors are also Certified to ASNT ACCP Level 2. Our Quality Assurance Staff operates under and complies with our ASME NQA-1 Quality program. We manufacture products in strict compliance with our QA program, and to our customers’ specifications.
Capabilities
We have the ability to stress-relieve large weldments during- and post-welding by utilizing our Meta-Lax by Bonal. This system introduces low-frequency vibrations into the part during the welding process, thus reducing thermal distortion and allowing the metal to cool more evenly.
Our Motoman Robotic Welding cells can be utilized for high production of parts — up to 10’ long and weighing up to 2000 lbs. — allowing for efficient production of very intricate weldments.
